The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford is a western movie that I say would be considered more good then great.
This movie is about Robert Ford and Jesse James and the strange relationship that they have that leads to murder of Jesse James. If you are looking for an action movie, this is not it. I would classify it more as a drama.
Robert Ford is played by Casey Afleck who does a wonderful job. He is somewhat of a younger adult who still acts like a child in many ways and gets to work with his idol Jesse James. Casey Afleck does plays a bit of a creep in this, and has an almost sexual attraction to Jesse James which builds up serious amounts of tension.
There are some great scenes as well as scenery in this movie, but it just seems to drag on. I had to watch this movie in shifts because I found it rather boring. I think it took 3 times to finally get through it. I would have just returned it, had I not heard such rave reviews from my friends. So I toughed it out and finally finished it.
I give the movie 3 stars. 
It took Netflix 1 day to send this and one day to receive it. Took me many days to finally watch it.
