How’s Your News?
So I have this friend and he told me he had an interesting movie to watch called How’s Your News. When we put this in the DVD player I really did not know what to expect. Soon after it started I was wondering why exactly he brought this over. After a few minutes I started to see why. How’s Your News is a great movie that can you change the way you see the world.
How’s Your News is a team of 5 news reporters who have varying disabilities, that travel across the US and interview people in a way that they have never been interviewed before. Reactions by some of the people make you wonder what is wrong with everyone in the world. Others make you happy to be a part of it.
The interviews are totally unexpected by the people on the streets. There are people who go out of their way to be helpful, and others who do anything they can to get away from the interviewer. You also get to see interviews with people who you can tell are kind souls.
Some of the conversations that take place between the interviewer and the interviewee are priceless. Another thing that is hilarious is that out of nowhere they could just start interviewing someone in a strange situation. They meet some interesting characters along the way including some cowboys at an cattle auction, a biker, and some people at Venice Beach.
The funniest interview was probably the interview of a goat.
Part of the story follows one of the interviewers, Ronnie Simonsen, and his obsession with the soap star Chad Everett. There is a special feature on the DVD that is worth watching, that will bring a smile to your face.
The soundtrack for the movie is also interesting and somehow it gets stuck in your head. Overall this is a just a fun and interesting Documentary / News Cast.
